The controller (joystick) is pre-programmable to feature 4 different personalized vaping profiles, all with different volts and watts. The device is programmable through a computer and allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the joystick to your preferred rigidity levels.
The MiD PC application allows you to create, store, and execute unlimited vaping profiles on your computer. You can also edit and store unlimited vaping profiles on your computer. You can store these profiles in your MiD device and/or upload them onto the MiD community website and share them with your social circle. You can also see your vaping and device parameters on screen as you puff, in real time. The MiD also records the puffs you take when disconnected from your computer. You can even create a personalized user name for your device.
Modules are not required for the MiD to work, they are optional software packs that allow the MiD to be customized to the fullest extent. Modules have quite a few advantages like:
1) You only pay for what you use - rather than buying the MiD with every function enabled, you have the freedom to buy only what you want.
2) Modules make it possible to continually add new functions to the MiD.
3) Modules allow you to interact with other MiD enthusiasts in the online MiD community and also make it much easier for you to request new modules from the manufacturer.

The MiD comes programmed in demo mode allowing you to run module based functions for a trial period of 500 puffs, after which the device returns to the default out-of-the-box configuration with no modules. This is an absolutely awesome feature that lets you try out modules and see which ones are best for you before you actually buy any.
